The regional competition was this last Saturday, March 1st at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins. Our team members are eagerly awaiting to hear which teams will make the state tournament in April at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.

An already historic 2024-25 season for the PRA High School boys' basketball team has added its latest chapter this week when the Miners were awarded the No. 4 seed, and regional hosting rights for the first two rounds, in the Class 4A Boys Basketball State Tournament!
PRA (17-6 overall), which has already set a school record for wins in a season, will begin the state tournament with a 5 p.m. home game this Friday against No. 29 seed Delta High School. If the Miners win, they'll host either No. 13 The Classical Academy or No. 20 DSST College View at 1 p.m. Saturday.
All K-12 students get into Friday's for free, while adult tickets ($8) and senior citizen tickets ($5) are available for purchase online. Last weekend, the PRA Mock Trial team took second place out of 14 teams in the Adams/Broomfield county regional tournament! They advanced to the Colorado State Mock Trial Championship Tournament, which will be held in Pueblo on March 14-15.
The team's coaches are PRA English teacher Dr. LeCarner, a former corporate trial lawyer, and Claire McGuire Elster, a practicing criminal defense attorney. Go Miners!!
On Saturday, a team of PRA HS students competed at the National History Day regional competition, with six projects earning top-3 finishes!
