Congratulations to PRA junior Jack Brandt, who was honored before tonight's home game against Denver Christian for becoming the first Miner to score 1,000 career points!!

Brandt, who passed Max Vacco (2019-23) as the program's all-time leading scorer earlier this year, scored 24 points in last Thursday's road win over Jefferson Academy to eclipse the 1,000-point mark 🤯 #PRAMiners #copreps

Our staff and teachers have been enjoying the events of the "CAMP PRA" Staff Appreciation Week!

We are so grateful to the many parents, from across all grade levels, who donated their time, food items, gift cards and more to make these events really special!

PRA students and staff are down at the capitol today for the annual Charter School Advocacy Day! Each year the charter school community comes together to learn how become an effective advocates. #PRAMiners

Congratulations to one of PRA's founding families, Ken and Renee Rooks, and HS science teacher Eileen Miller on being named 2026 Hall of Fame finalists for the Colorado League of Charter Schools!!

The Rooks family are finalists for Most Valuable Charter Contributor, while Ms. Miller is a finalist for Educator of the Year #PRAMiners

Winners will be announced during the annual Colorado League of Charter Schools conference on February 26-27.

Before heading off to winter break, make sure you stop by the Lost & Found areas to claim your missing items! Our Lost & Found areas are currently chalk full of bags, coats, hats, water bottles, notebooks and more. We'd love to be able to get these items back to the proper owners.

PRA will set up tables outside the K8 and High School front offices on Tuesday, December 17 and Wednesday, December 18 during Elementary Assessments and Finals Week. Look through the lost items any time between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. those two days.

Any items that are not claimed will be donated on Friday, December 19.

PRA is excited to announce the hiring of Eric Wolf as the next varsity girls' soccer head coach! Coach Wolf will be a familiar face to student-athletes as he is currently in his 13th year at PRA as a teacher and has been an active soccer coach since 1998 #PRAMiners

PRA 1st-4th grade students had the opportunity to meet and read along with local author, and PRA 9th Grade English teacher, Heather Preusser this morning!

Preusser has released two of her three-book Hedgehog Whodunit series, with the third book due out in 2026!

On Monday, November 10th, PRA second graders all received a copy of "The Girl Who Recycled One Million Cans", donated by the Recycling Society.

It reminds each of us how we can do our part to recycle and supports the kick off of their Service Learning Project. Keep those cans coming in! #MillonCansChallenge #PRAMiners
