Come out on Feb. 8 and experience Core Knowledge Night with hands-on activities for all ages. PRA teachers, students and outside vendors will present fun and educational stations that help highlight our Core Knowledge curriculum.

The night starts at 5 p.m. and continues until 7 p.m. The iPIE food truck and Sweet Cow food truck will be on site to make dinner and dessert easy.

PRA's National Junior Honor Society helped make the holidays a little sweeter for our nation's service men and service women! NJHS collected 900 pounds of candy in early November via donations from the PRA community to send to the troops! Yesterday PRA's high school students gave the cheer team a spirited send off as the team heads to the state championships today. They compete at 8:40 a.m. at The Denver Coliseum. The competition is being livestreamed on the NFHS Network.

Kindergartener Austin M. and 4th grader teacher Mrs. Jackson both showed they were Proud Miners by sharing some family history with Flat Doug the Miner over fall break. Austin took Flat Doug to Florida where they saw the plane that Austin's grandfather flew. Mrs. Jackson introduced Flat Doug to her hometown in Wyoming! One of Mrs. Jackson's ancestors was mayor of the town in the last 1880s.

Three elementary students showed their Miner Pride locally and in surrounding states. Flat Doug accompanied Peyton M, 1st grade, to the ophthalmologist and to visit the Broncos training center. Addison B, 6th grade, and Collin B., 4th grade, showed Flat Doug around Salt Lake City and took him skiing.
