Before spring break, the Class of 2024 presented their Senior Leadership Capstone Symposium. This annual event is the culmination of work the students have done since the beginning of the year. Each student chooses a career of interest and works with a mentor to learn about and practice the job. They then present their experience through a display board and answering question at the symposium.

Tonight PRA welcomed it's rising 9th graders and students new to PRA's high school in all grades for the 2024-2025 school year during High School Transition Night. This special event helps new high schools learn more about what to expect in the fall and allows them to talk with students about clubs, activities, and sports. Thanks to everyone who attended and those who helped welcome our new high school students!

Congratulations to the 17 PRA sophomores who competed at the National History Day regional competition in late February. All 17 placed in the top three in their categories and will now move on to compete in the State competition on the campus of the University of Colorado Denver on April 27. Yesterday, PRA student council members from all levels delivered to The Children's Hospital the comfort bags and blankets that students assembled during Miner Mania last month. During this annual all-school service event, students tied 42 blankets, created 600 cards, and put together 720 comfort bags.
Thanks to all who helped make this service event possible, and to The Children's Hospital for allowing us to partner with them this year!

PRA elementary school celebrated Read Across America Day on Friday, March 1, by dressing as a character from their book. Both students and teachers joined in the fun, and a few high school students took part by reading to elementary classes.

Both of PRA's middle school girls basketball teams are in the final tournament tonight! Come out and cheer them on at the tournament hosted by Peak to Peak.
MS A Team will take on Jefferson Academy at 4 p.m. The winner of this game will play the winner of the Peak to Peak vs. Flatirons Academy contents in the championship game at 6 p.m.
MS B Team will play at 5 p.m. against the FCA Eagles with the championship game following at 6 p.m.

Thanks to all who contributed to a wonderful Staff Appreciation Week last week! Staff enjoyed a Farmer's Market brunch, a picnic lunch, and a stocked lounge. Yesterday during Miner Mania, our annual all-school service event, PRA students lived out our mission to "utilize character education and service learning programs that encourage community partnerships." This year PRA supported The Children's Hospital by providing items to help children who are required to stay overnight or face long-term hospital stays. They also made cards to be distributed to the hospital's patients.

Congratulations to our PRA cheer team who performed at the national competition in Orlando last weekend in Orlando. They earned their highest score of the season and hit zero, which means there were no mistakes in their routine.

Congratulations to 8th grader Sarah Jensen, who performed with the Colorado Middle School All State Choir last weekend joining students from across Colorado for the two-day festival. Sarah auditioned for the choir in October and placed as one of the top performers in her vocal part. She began working with Mrs. Hwang to prepare for the performance in December,
