2023-24 PRA Middle School yearbook staff

The Prospect Ridge Academy Middle School yearbook program was recognized on the national scene this past semester, earning a 2024 Jostens National Yearbook Program of Excellence award at the Gold Level.

Jostens is the leading producer of yearbooks and student-created content. The National Yearbook Program of Excellence award, presented twice a year in the fall and spring semesters, recognizes engaging yearbooks that reflect a broad representation of the student body, while helping students to develop 21st century skills such as communication, collaboration, as well as information and communication technologies (ICT) literacy.

The award-winning PRA middle school yearbook program featured 26 students in 2023-24 and is under the direction of Olivia Toth, a PRA Middle School art teacher who just completed her third year as the yearbook adviser.

“I thought we did a really great job covering a lot of students in the yearbook, including over 50 percent of the student body three times or more, we hit all of our deadlines on time, and our Jostens representative really liked our design work,” Toth said. “The kids produced excellent work and put in extra time outside of school to make sure we covered everyone. And I thought our design was exceptional this year. The creativity of all the spreads was a step above other years that I’ve taught yearbook.”

The Miners yearbook staff was presented the award for achieving defined criteria across the three categories: creating an inclusive yearbook, generating school engagement and successfully managing the yearbook creation process.

Congratulations to our PRA middle school yearbook staff on their tremendous achievement!
