Thank you to everyone who joined us this evening for the annual Senior Capstone Symposium!!

As part of graduation, this PRA tradition has seniors work on a capstone project based on their passions and interests. The students collaborate with mentors, who work in their area of interest, to complete their capstone before presenting their project during the Senior Capstone Symposium.

What happens when you can’t stop until the pen dies? Our PRA High School Art 3 students found out with their "Drain the Pen" assignment. One semester of layering led to these stunning, high-detail results. Sometimes, more really is more! #PRAFineArts

This afternoon, our PRA middle schoolers got the chance to celebrate Pi Day π a little early 😏

Our middle school Pi Day assembly includes a Middle Mountains pie eating contest and the chance to put a "pie" in the face of a favorite PRA staff member. Students qualify for these opportunities by memorizing and reciting the digits of pi (π) #PRAMiners

This past weekend, the PRA Middle School and High School science olympiad teams competed at the Northern Colorado Regional tournament!
PRA High School earned 1st place in the Chem Lab competition for the second year in a row, while both the MS and HS teams punched their tickets to the state finals next month! The Colorado State Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 4 on the UCCS campus #GoMiners

Earlier today, we were able to surprise our three staff members -Erin Puccio, Veronica Nelson and Melissa Judd - who received a "Thank a Teacher" day off packages, generously sponsored at this year's Gala by the Kunze family, the Rocha family and the Dillon family!! 🥰 #PRAMiners

All three teachers will receive a paid day off from from work, as well as a manicure + pedicure and 50-minute massage, courtesy of Woodhouse Spa - Broomfield

Hands-on Learning ↔ Community Service

This semester, the PRA High School AP Spanish Class has been learning about sanitation in Spanish Speaking Countries. Part of the AP exam is to learn how to compare and contrast how we do things in our community versus how things are done in Spanish speaking countries.

Students learned all of the vocabulary for sanitation clean up, and spoke in Spanish the entire time, during a class service project to pick up trash along I-25 and the West 144th Ave. exit ramp. ♻🥰 #PRAMiners

Earlier today, our Prospect Ridge Academy Performing Arts Orchestra performed at the Mountain Range Orchestra Festival, hosted by Mountain Range High School.

Following our Miners' performance, they were able to attend a clinic with adjudicators, meant to push musicians and elevate ensembles! #PRAMiners #GoldenSpotlight

Congratulations to PRA junior Jack Brandt, who was honored before tonight's home game against Denver Christian for becoming the first Miner to score 1,000 career points!!

Brandt, who passed Max Vacco (2019-23) as the program's all-time leading scorer earlier this year, scored 24 points in last Thursday's road win over Jefferson Academy to eclipse the 1,000-point mark 🤯 #PRAMiners #copreps

Our staff and teachers have been enjoying the events of the "CAMP PRA" Staff Appreciation Week!

We are so grateful to the many parents, from across all grade levels, who donated their time, food items, gift cards and more to make these events really special!

PRA students and staff are down at the capitol today for the annual Charter School Advocacy Day! Each year the charter school community comes together to learn how become an effective advocates. #PRAMiners

Congratulations to one of PRA's founding families, Ken and Renee Rooks, and HS science teacher Eileen Miller on being named 2026 Hall of Fame finalists for the Colorado League of Charter Schools!!

The Rooks family are finalists for Most Valuable Charter Contributor, while Ms. Miller is a finalist for Educator of the Year #PRAMiners

Winners will be announced during the annual Colorado League of Charter Schools conference on February 26-27.
