2026 YSGD

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Every Colorado child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence and lifelong benefits of playing sports. To help make that possible, Prospect Ridge Academy is proud to join hundreds of organizations across the state in the third annual Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day; a statewide two-week online fundraising campaign running Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 6:00 p.m. through Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 11:59 p.m. MT, led by the Daniels Fund and Aspen Institute’s Project Play Colorado.

In its first two years, Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day raised nearly $9 million and supported more than 240 nonprofits statewide, funding equipment, uniforms, programming and expanded opportunities for kids across Colorado. This year, PRA is joining the campaign to help ensure all qualifying Miners have access to athletics at Prospect Ridge Academy and further support PRA's Master Plan of on-campus athletic facility construction and renovations.

Donations to Prospect Ridge Academy can be made directly through our Colorado Gives giving page from Sept. 1–15, 2026.

Matching Funds Boost Every Gift

This year’s campaign features more than $1.5 million in matching and incentive funds, meaning every dollar donated goes even further in support of Colorado’s young athletes.

The first $1 million raised online on Sept. 1 will be matched dollar-for-dollar — making  gifts contributes as soon as the campaign kicks off (6:00 p.m. MT)  the most powerful way to give. All other online donations made through Sept. 15 will be boosted by an incentive fund.

New this year, the America250 Fund Donations made through a donor-advised fund (DAF), IRA rollover or wire transfer will unlock a dedicated $250,000 dollar-for-dollar match exclusively for those gift types. Donors interested in giving this way are encouraged to plan ahead.
