Nonprofit EF High School Exchange Year (EF) is looking for caring volunteer Prospect Ridge Academy host families for EF students that will arrive in Colorado in August 2026. All EF host families receive $500 off any EF Tours teacher led international student trip, or any EF Girl Scouts international trip, for a two-year period after hosting.
Listed below are some wonderful students that would love to come to Colorado to attend Prospect Ridge Academy in fall 2026. Other students are available…just ask! All students will arrive in August before school starts.
Letizia from Italy is a fall 2026 one semester student who is a friendly, kind, calm & positive young lady. She loves sports and is on a club track & team. She also loves volleyball, cooking, running, fitness training, outdoor activities, volunteering & travel. 17-year-old Letizia lives in a charming village outside of Milan near the border with Switzerland with her parents & younger brother & sister. She has a B GPA.
Erik from Germany is a fall 2026 one semester student who is a very kind & fun young man who has a great sense of humor. Both Eriks mom and dad were exchange students in the USA when they were in high school! Erik is an athletic guy who plays on a club soccer team which he loves. He also plays basketball, tennis and loves to ski. He also likes meeting new people, board games, movies, being outside in nature & travel. Eric lives in the beautiful city of Berlin. He has a little sister (13). He has a B GPA.
Elena from Italy is a fall 2026 two semester student who is a positive, happy, and cheerful young lady who loves to laugh. Elena loves volleyball and is on a club volleyball team. She also likes to ski, travel and bake & cook. She would love to cook Italian treats for her American host family! She also loves music & dogs. Elena lives with her parents, three sisters in charming Milan. She has a B GPA.
Lis from The Netherlands is a fall 2026 two semester student who is a kind, friendly and outgoing girl, always ready to meet people & make friends. Lis loves snowboarding, cooking, museums, all animals, kick boxing, sailing, shopping, reading, movies, and travel. Sixteen-year-old Lis lives with her parents & her two younger sisters in a charming lakeside town outside of Amsterdam. Her family owns a little island on the lake. She has a B GPA.
Chloe from Italy is a fall 2026 one semester student who is a warm, friendly, outgoing, responsible, & positive person. Chloe is on a club volleyball team; she also loves tennis. In her free time, she likes photography, theater & yoga. Chloe lives with her parents & younger brother & sister in a village in Tuscany, not far from Pisa. 17-year-old Chloe has a B GPA.
EF host families provide home, food, and family support. The job of an EF host family is simply to live your normal life. EF students speak excellent English, are fully vetted and insured. EF students cover all personal expenses other than room and board. This includes all school fees and anything they buy or do while in the USA.

Nonprofit EF High School Exchange Year is both an international company, and a local Colorado company. The EF Denver, Colorado office is on 15th Street, near REI. EF staff at this new office provide Colorado schools, host families and students with outstanding 24/7 support.
