This past weekend, the PRA Middle School and High School science olympiad teams competed at the Northern Colorado Regional tournament!
PRA High School earned 1st place in the Chem Lab competition for the second year in a row and 4th place overall.
Both the middle school and high teams punched their tickets to the state finals next month! The Colorado State Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 4 on the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs campus.
Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering.
The competition is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Events are a combination of building events and testing events in the above subjects.
