CLCS Hall of Fame

The Colorado League of Charter Schools announced its annual Hall of Fame finalists lists on Wednesday, with a trio of Prospect Ridge Academy community members earning the distinction.

Ken and Renee Rooks have been nominated as finalists for the Most Valuable Charter Contributor after being the founding family of PRA back in 2011. They celebrated the graduation of their youngest daughter, Natalie, from PRA in 2025.

In addition to the Rooks family, PRA High School science teacher Eileen Miller is also one of 10 finalists for Educator of the Year. Ms. Miller has been a Miner since 2017-18 and has contributed to PRA High School being ranked inside the top 3% nationally by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings factor in graduation rate, reading proficiency, mathematics proficiency, as well as students who have taken and passed at least one AP Exam.

Hall of Fame winners will be announced at the annual Colorado Charter Schools Conference, set for February 25-27 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center. The Hall of Fame ceremony is a joyous celebration honoring members, leaders, and supporters who have significantly contributed to the charter school movement.
