This past weekend, PRA High School's Model United Nations team competed at the Valor Christian High School's conference. It was the largest MUN conference in Colorado's history, with nearly 500 delegates in attendance.
PRA represented well as seven Miners earned awards for their performance!
Below are the specific honors that went to PRA's team:
- Senior Nathan Lamsal earned an Honorable Mention (3rd place) award for representing Panama on the Security Council.
- Seniors Ryan Corson and Constantinos Josephides earned best position paper awards for their outstanding pieces outlining China's views on the Security Council.
- Sophomores Lillian Hyser and Nicolas Jasiewicz earned Outstanding Delegate (2nd place) awards for representing Romania on the Security Council.
- Freshmen Deekshitha Yerramsetty and Sree Gauri Modugula earned Best Delegate (1st place) awards for representing Guyana on the Security Council.
