PRA is excited to announce a great opportunity for our community to connect with our PRA Middle School students!
The 2025 school year marked the launch of our new Middle Mountains House system—a dynamic program designed to support our middle school students as they grow and learn. Each grade-level “ridge” focuses on a specific theme, such as Thriving in Middle School, Empathy and Connection, Digital Citizenship, and Future Planning.
As we bring this vision to life, we’re reaching out to our incredible community for support and involvement. Do you have a story, skill, or life experience you’d be willing to share with our students? Maybe a grandparent has a moving story from the Vietnam War, an aunt wants to teach crocheting, or you’ve taken an inspiring or unusual path in your career.
Here are just a few more ways you might get involved:
Are you fluent in another language or passionate about sharing cultural traditions?
Do you love to read and want to lead a middle school book club?
Can you connect students to virtual field trips that bring learning to life?
Would you enjoy teaching kids classic games like chess, checkers, or Parcheesi?
Are you a wellness enthusiast who can show students how to cook simple, healthy meals?
The world is full of rich experiences and diverse perspectives—and we believe that you can help our students see that learning goes far beyond the classroom.
