Nonprofit EF High School Exchange Year (EF) is looking for caring volunteer Prospect Ridge Academy host families for EF students that will arrive to Colorado in August 2025. All EF host families receive $500 off any EF Tours PRA teacher-led international student trip, or any EF Girl Scouts international trip, for a two-year period of time after hosting.
Listed below are some wonderful students that would love to come to Colorado to attend Prospect Ridge Academy in fall 2025. Fall half year students will arrive in Colorado in August before school starts and return home after the Christmas holiday. (Other students are available…just ask!)
Ermina from Italy is a fall 2025 one semester student who is a happy, friendly, active and responsible young lady who loves to be around people. Ermina loves to dance and is on a club dance team. She also loves board games, music, movies, swimming, nature, travel, reading, shopping & hanging with friends. Ermina lives in a small village near Milan with her mom, dad, brother & their cat. Sixteen-year-old Ermina has an A average GPA.
Maya from Germany is a is a fall 2025 one semester student who is a positive, hardworking, and cheerful young lady who loves to laugh. Maya loves volleyball and is on a club volleyball team. She also likes to play tennis, do puzzles, shop, hang out with friends, movies, animals and travel. She also plays the flute. Sixteen-year-old Maya lives with her parents, brother and their two dogs outside of Dusseldorf. She has an A average GPA.
Matteo from Italy is a fall 2025 one semester student who is a friendly, outgoing, responsible, empathetic & positive young man. Matteo has a natural ability to connect with people. He loves sports and plays on a club volleyball team. He also loves camping, board games, snowboarding, outdoor activities, nature, cars, travel and hanging with friends. Matteo believes his host family will expect him to be responsible, respectful and open to learning about the local culture while also sharing his own. Sixteen-year-old Matteo has a B average GPA.
EF host families provide home, food, and family support. The job of an EF host family is simply to live your normal life.
EF students speak excellent English, are fully vetted and insured. They cover all personal expenses other than room and board. This includes all school fees and anything they buy or do while in the USA.

EF High School Exchange Year is both an international company, and a local Colorado company. The EF Denver, Colorado office is on 15th Street, next to REI. EF staff at this new office provide Colorado schools, host families and students with outstanding 24/7 support.
