Prospect Ridge Academy is pleased to announce that three students – Harsha Chundru, Kayah Robbins and Omi McGee – have been selected by the Colorado League of Charter Schools to receive the distinction of Charter Champion!
This is the third year in a row that PRA students have been elected to receive this distinction, while the three winners mark the highest number of PRA students to be selected to date.
Charter Champions is a four-month advocacy training program for a diverse group of charter high school students who aspire to be leaders in their community. Champions will define what it means to be a student leader through collaborating with their peers and promoting a culture of excellency.
Nominations opened this past August and can be submitted by teachers, school leaders, coaches, or other charter school staff—anyone who wants to shine a light on a deserving charter high school student who has made their community proud.
