Congratulations to the PRA Model United Nations!
Saturday, November 2, PRA MUN successfully co-hosted a conference with Legacy and Stargate, where over 230 students came from all over Colorado! This was a great showing for PRA, as three of our members were presiding officers, and many people tried Model United Nations for the first time.
For those who don’t know, Model United Nations is a mock version of the United Nations for high school students, where each student represents a country to try to give their country the most resources, money, and land, while collaborating to create peaceful resolutions.
Model United Nations is great because it is a fun way to develop creative writing and speaking skills in a fun way, and it looks great on college applications. You can always join! The Google Classroom code for Model UN is h5pvhv4, and on the Google Classroom you can join the email list.
This conference is unique as we were able to send our resolutions to the United Nations to be considered by real countries!
