Prospect Ridge Academy proudly joined other members of the Adams 12 Five Star School District back on Wednesday, August 28 when the Board of Education officially approved the Blueprint Funding Proposals to be placed on the November ballot.
Following the approved the placement of an $830 million bond and a $34.5 million mill levy override on the November ballot, the PRA Board of Directors sent a letter of support to the Adams 12 Five Star School District last Friday, expressing their support and gratitude to the Adams 12 Board of Education for their leadership and commitment to all district students.
In early October, the Board of Directors also adopted its finalized Resolutions in support of the Adams 12 Five Star School District Board of Education's decision to champion the Blueprint Funding proposals.
The Blueprint Funding Proposals were identified and prioritized by the Adams 12 community leading up to the Board of Education meeting in August. The initiatives would allow every school in the district to receive facility repairs or updates, as well as additional resources toward staffing and programming.
If passed by voters in November, the $830 million bond proposal would go toward the district’s capital investments, such as construction and building repair. The $34.5 million mill levy funds would be used toward supporting salaries and program expansions.
