With the 2024-25 school year fast approaching, Prospect Ridge Academy is excited to announce some new and exciting changes for our annual Miner Gold Rush and Fall Festival, scheduled for 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th.
In an effort to avoid potential inclement weather in the evening hours, one of the new changes this fall includes moving the Miner Gold Rush 5K race to the morning! Corralling will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the starting gun sounding at 9 a.m.
In addition to the 5K run, the one-mile Fun Run and Fall Festival activities will be get underway at 10 a.m., with the Fall Festival running until 2 p.m. Check out the MGR website for up-to-date and detailed schedules for the event, and to register you and your family today! Early Bird registration for the 5K and Fun Run is available through Saturday, Sept. 7.
Another exciting change this year is PRA’s annual Gala is moving from the spring semester to this upcoming November! This change offers families who plan to attend both events an opportunity to take advantage of packages that provide discounted admission to both events. For those new to the PRA community, our Miner Gold Rush (MGR) and Fall Festival kicks off the school year by bringing our families together for a fun day of community building. The Fall Festival will include entertainment options such as Mining for Gold, carnival games, face painting, a dunk tank, as well as the return of the Ninja Nation obstacle course!
Be sure to mark your calendars and get your registration in early for this year’s Miner Gold Rush! Not only is the event a great way to help support PRA, but it is a fun and unique way to connect with other PRA families in our community.
