The Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Mike Hill as PRA's next head girls soccer coach.
Coach Mike is an experienced coaching professional, bringing a unique blend of playing and coaching success to the program. As a player, he contributed to youth club success, including multiple state championships and ODP participation, and played collegiately at the national championship level at Johnson County Community College and Rockhurst University. During his college career, Coach Mike competed for national championships three of his four years, playing in the Final Four twice, and making a national championship game appearance his senior year. Success at the highest collegiate levels transitioned Mike into the professional game as he was drafted by the Detroit Rockers out of college.
With professional and semi-professional playing experience with the Pensacola Flyers and Kansas City Brass respectively, his on-the-field triumphs solidify his understanding of elite-level competition and the details required to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
Transitioning his playing success into coaching, Coach Mike has coached at multiple soccer clubs in the north Denver metro area. His track record includes multiple league titles, tournament victories, and regional championships, coupled with a memorable national championship appearance last year. With additional experience as a director of coaching, he has nurtured talent across all age groups, instilling a deep love for the game and fostering a culture of excellence in those he works with. His most recent assistant coaching experience with a local WPSL team last summer highlights his versatility and dedication to soccer development at every level.
Coach Mike's hopes to bring his passion for soccer and his love of the game to every player in the PRA program.
