You don't want to miss Core Knowledge Night on Thursday, Feb. 8! The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is free! We’ll have hands-on activities from across the spectrum of our curriculum to engage visitors of all ages. BINGO cards will be available at the door. Students will find clues in each of the activity rooms that will help them fill in their BINGO squares. 

This year, presenters include PRA’s own students and teachers, as well as those from the greater community.

The lineup includes: 

  • A Holocaust survivor experience that is open to all ages

  • Engineering stations

  • A crime scene investigation room 

  • 3D simulations with merge cubes 

  • Nature Educators will educate attendees about six animals

  • A blow-up planetarium 

  • Veterans presenting their uniforms 

  • CU Science’s Makey Makey Lab with circuits 

  • Colorado School of Mines

  • Spellbinders storytellers

  • Cultural dancing groups

  • And more!

The cultural dancing groups will perform in the High School Commons. The schedule for the cultural dancers is:

  • 5:15 p.m. Second Grade Indian Dance

  • 5:30 p.m. Heritage Irish Dancers

  • 6 p.m. Inter-tribal dancers

  • 6:30 p.m. Colorado Asian Cultural Heritage Center Lion Dance

Two food trucks will be on-site: iPie and Sweet Cow. The food trucks will be located in the high school driveline area.
