Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in the HS Gym on Thursday, Feb. 15, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a lunch break from noon to 1 p.m. Students will not have school on Feb. 15.
Parent Teacher Conferences are an opportunity to check-in with your student's teachers but attendance is not required. If parents feel well informed about their student's progress and have been in touch with teachers via email or phone, they are not obligated to attend.
If parents plan to attend, we ask that your high school student attend with you and be an active participant in the discussions.
On conference day parents should arrive at their scheduled time. Signs will direct you to the gym where teachers will be at tables identified by last names. During the 20-minute time for which you sign-up, parents can meet with each of their student’s teachers or with only those teachers with whom you would like to speak. If a teacher does not have a parent or student at their table, they are available to meet with you. Please meet with teachers as they are available during your 20-minute sign-up. Scheduling conferences every 20 minutes allows us to maximize the time for our student conversations and minimize lines.
Note: If a parent needs more time with a specific teacher, please reach out to that teacher via email and schedule a followup meeting. We ask that only the student and parent/guardian attend the conference, and that other arrangements are made for younger siblings.
Sign-ups open on Thursday, Feb. 1, and close at the end of the day Tuesday, Feb. 13. Once the SignUpGenius links are closed, parents will need to reach out directly to their student’s teacher to make other arrangements.
