Happy November!

With a couple of breaks within reach, stamina could be waning for our students. This will be a great time to remind students to show PERSEVERANCE!

*A Note on Groups: Group counseling is a great way for me to support multiple students at the same time. ALL students could benefit from the groups I will be offering this year, but unfortunately with more than 600 students in the elementary school, it won’t be possible for every student to participate in a group. If your student is recommended for a group, it’s likely because school staff think they would be a great fit for the content of the group as well as with the other students in the group. Groups are optional, and simply a way to give students more access to social-emotional learning here at school.

Our character trait for November is PERSEVERANCE.

PERSEVERANCE: Sticking to it, even when you’d rather give up.

Perseverance is incredibly important in helping students develop resilience. Students will be practicing perseverance during character lessons through challenges and activities that will encourage them to keep trying, even when they’d rather give up.

Elementary Assembly: Thursday, Nov. 2

Please reach out with any questions, concerns, or ways I can support you and your family this month!
