Hello, Miner Volunteers!
The school year has started and we are well on our way to making it a great one! It was wonderful seeing so many of you at the Check-in Fair last week and I am having so much fun helping in driveline in the mornings.
I wanted to thank everyone again for completing their online volunteer training this week. We continue to have new volunteers sign up and even more of our returning families are renewing their training. We hit 500 active volunteers this week!
If you haven’t had a chance to complete your training, please click here to begin the process.
We have several volunteer opportunities available. Please see our website for the latest sign ups to see how you can help! Pay special attention to the Miner Gold Rush; we have adult and student volunteer slots available.
Ms. Huey is also looking for help:
Are you handy? Would you be willing to assemble a table surface for the MS LEGO Robotics team? Mostly made of 8x4 foot plywood sheet and 2X4 sides. Supplies and directions will be provided by PRA MS LEGO Robotics coach Heidi Huey. If interested please email Heidi Huey at hhuey@prospectridgeacademy.org. The MS LEGO Table needed preferably by mid September. Thank you!
We also have our K5 and middle school summer reading challenge parties coming up! We have volunteer spots for adults and high school students.
Are you interested in helping with our Bring One Someone Special (B.O.S.S.) Butterfly Ball event in November? Sign up on our website to let us know!
For more information on all things volunteer-related, please email volunteer@prospectridgeacademy.org.
Thanks for all that you do!
