Students DO NOT have to dress into athletic clothes the first three days of school (Aug. 16, 17 and 18). Students must wear TENNIS SHOES because we will be active on those days.

Optional: Students that want to dress out into athletic clothes can start dressing out the first week.

Required: Here are the requirements for athletic clothes in PE class. This can also help prepare your student for Monday August. 21st when dressing out in athletic clothes is required.

Athletic apparel:

  • T-shirt, athletic shoes (no slide on shoes like Vans), shorts (measure to about fingertips when arms are at your sides) or athletic pants. Logos and graphics are alright as long as it is school appropriate.
  • Not appropriate: no tank tops, no midriff tops/crop tops, no inappropriate graphics or logos, no shorts that are above fingertip check length, jewelry will not be allowed, except for sport watches.

Locker rooms:

  • Students will be using the high school locker rooms to change in and out of PE clothes. Students will NOT have a locker available for PE. Students will need a drawstring bag to carry their PE clothes to class.

Medications: Students that have medications that have the self carry form filled out from his or her doctor and that has been turned into the nurse, may bring them to PE if necessary. For example a student may bring his or her inhaler for asthma that may occur during PE class as long as the official forms have been given to the nurse.

Quick List of what to bring to PE class:

  • Drawstring bag
  • Athletic clothes/athletic shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Medications (if allowed to self carry and paperwork has been completed with the nurse)
  • Optional: brush, extra hair ties, and/ or deodorant
