Homework Resources, Expectations
Kindergarteners have started doing iReady lessons in class and can do lessons at home as a homework option beginning on October 10
Where: Homework can be found BEE books and specifically labeled as homework with the due date on the cover sheet.
How: iReady login cards have been taped on the inside cover of BEE books

🎉BOUNCE EMPIRE FUNDRAISING EVENT🎉
Bring your friends and family on Thursday, May 1 to Bounce Empire for fun anytime between 10 AM - 10 PM with their all-day pass. A generous 15% of all ticket, food and drink proceeds will go back to Prospect Ridge Academy. There's no better way for our Elementary Students to spend their Assessments day while off of school. Mark your calendars for the End-of-Year Picnic on Thursday, May 22 from 11:30-1:30 pm. Bring your sunscreen and lunch for a fun afternoon with friends. Please feel free to bring outdoor toys, soccer balls, footballs and more to play at Big Dry Creek Park.
New this year, Smoothie King will be delivering pre-ordered smoothies (Caribbean Way & MangoFest) that will be distributed by the GLCs from 12-1 pm. Pre-order link coming soon! Combined all K5 grades (2032, 2033, 2034, 2035 and 2036).
*While all smoothies are gluten-free and nut-free, they are prepared in a facility that also handles nuts.

Every Friday will be a PRA Spirit Day, allowing students to show their Miner and college pride. Spirit Day Dress Code guidelines can be found here.

You are welcome to bring in non-edible trinkets to share with the class on your child’s birthday. Plan for 22 students. Summer birthdays will be celebrated in May.

Melissa Judd
Welcome to Kindergarten!
I began teaching in 2010, before stepping away from the classroom to raise my 3 young children. In 2022 I joined the kindergarten team at PRA. I have taught first grade and fourth grade, but kindergarten is my favorite!
I have a master's degree in education and a bachelor's degree in Human Development from the University of California, San Diego.
My husband and I have 3 daughters that are proud to be PRA Miners! In my free time I love to read and travel with my family. I look forward to a wonderful year together!
Kristin McNichol
Welcome to Kindergarten! I have been in education since 2016. This is my 4th year teaching kindergarten at PRA. Prior to PRA, I was a reading interventionist in Des Moines, Iowa. I received my bachelor's in Public Relations and Spanish at Loras College in Dubuque Iowa. Later, I received my elementary education degree from Upper Iowa University.
When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family which includes my husband Ted, our daughter Marley (6), and our son Max (8). We love hiking, swimming, reading, and watching movies.
I am excited to begin my 4th year at PRA and look forward to getting to know a new class of kindergarteners.
Leandra Ruby
My name is Leandra Ruby. I have been in education since 2005. I have been a teacher at PRA since it opened in 2010. I received my bachelor's in liberal arts and master's degree in curriculum and instruction.
When I’m not teaching I love to watch Rockies games (and go to games when I can), read, organize, go camping, bake and watch movies.
I love the PRA community and I’m excited for another great year!
Savannah Pullin
Welcome to Kindergarten! I have been in education since 2016. This is my 2nd year at PRA and my 7th year teaching kindergarten. I received my bachelor’s in International Affairs from University of Colorado and my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Colorado State University.
When I’m not teaching, I love spending time outside with my husband Alex and our dog Ruby. We enjoy hiking, biking, camping and kayaking. I also love to read, travel and try new foods and restaurants.
I can’t wait to get to know your children. Looking forward to a wonderful year in Kindergarten!
