Existing Families

As a reminder, ALL students currently attending Prospect Ridge Academy are automatically enrolled in the next grade level at PRA for the following school year. If you would like your PRA student to return to PRA next year, you simply need to complete the Spring Intent to Return process and the required forms to secure your seat. These forms will be available after spring break.

If you have other children that you would like to attend PRA next year, you must enter them into the enrollment lottery. Space is not guaranteed for siblings, although they do receive priority in the lottery.

A lottery entry form will be available on the enrollment web page from December 1st through January 31st annually. Families entering children in the lottery will be notified after February 7th if their student(s) is offered a seat in a class or if they are placed on the waitlist. The waitlist is kept (and accessed if spaces become available) until late September when enrollment closes. The waitlist is then wiped clean and families must re-enter the next year, if desired.

Please remember, since PRA is now your current PRA student's "boundary" school, you will need to participate in the district's choice program or in-district transfer request process in order to attend another Adams 12 school next year, even if you are transferring to your neighborhood school. If you participate in the district choice program and are placed at your school of choice, this district approved assignment is legally binding; you are forfeiting your student's current spot at PRA by participating in the Adams 12 choice program.

Additionally, if you know your family will be moving over the summer and your children will no longer attend PRA, we ask that you complete and sign a Withdrawal Form. This form is available from either school office.

Please send us an email with any questions.

Annual Registration Existing PRA Families

PRA utilizes SchoolMint, an online enrollment system, to collect applications from interested families and to handle our annual registration paperwork for returning families.  SchoolMint

Annual registration occurs each year after spring break when families receive an email indicating registration is now open. Families should access their SchoolMint account and indicate if their student(s) is returning to PRA for the following year. Then they will need to look for the green Re-Enroll button within the SchoolMint dashboard to access the required online forms. The Annual Student Fee of $150 is due by the August Check-in Fair.

Withdrawing from PRA

Prospect Ridge Academy is sad to see members of our community leave, but we recognize this does happen on occasion. Whether you are moving out of state, or simply changing to a school across town, the district requires a formal notification of this withdrawal.

How do I withdraw my student?

If your student must leave mid-year, or if you know your student will not attend Prospect Ridge Academy next year, we ask that you complete a formal withdrawal form. These forms are available from PRA's front office staff or by emailing info@prospectridgeacademy.org.

On the form, you will be asked to provide your student's last day of attendance at PRA, the reason for withdrawal, the student's new school or program, and a guardian signature.

Student guardians should return completed withdrawal forms directly to the PRA office staff. However, if you determine a move over the summer, forms may be mailed, emailed or faxed to the school as soon as the change is definite.

Please be aware, once this form is signed and submitted to PRA, you are forfeiting your student's seat at this school. If you wish to return to PRA at a later time, you will need to enter our enrollment lottery for the next school year, Details regarding our lottery policy may be found on our website under Enrollment.

Why must I formally withdraw my student?

Each year our district, Adams 12 Five Star District, automatically rolls currently enrolled students to the next grade level at PRA. Your current student is assumed to stay at PRA through twelfth grade unless you specify otherwise.
