8th Grade

Class of 2028 at Timberline

Community Service

All MS students are required to complete eight hours of community service per school year. Students can count any service hours they completed during summer break towards the upcoming school year. Please refer to the Community Service webpage for additional information and to find the online form to submit completed service hours. PRA often has volunteer hours available for our MS students that can be found on the Volunteering at PRA.

MAKE SURE THE MS STUDENT is reporting the hours, not a parent...the form is not accessible outside the PRA domain, so students must be either using their school Chromebook or logged into their Google account to access and submit the form.

Dress Code Reminder

All information about Friday's Spirit Day attire is found on the K8 Dress Code page, along with every day dress code information. Scroll to the bottom of the page for Spirit Day dress code information. The 3" max rule above the knee always applies!

GLC Email: praclassof2029glc@gmail.com

My name is Amy Berg, and I will be representing our amazing 8th grade families as the Grade Level Coordinator (GLC) for the Class of 2029! I have twin girls, Cate and Kenzie, who will be in 8th grade this year. This will be our family's ninth year as part of the PRA community. I'm looking forward to working together with the Class of 2029 families again this school year! Go Miners!

This Month... April

MS Spring Dance is on Friday, May 2nd!

Our Middle School Student Council is busy planning our Spring "floral" dance, and they need your help! Both volunteers and donations are needed to make this fun event a success for the students! The dance will be on Friday May 2, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Student Council will be taking care of all set up and clean up, so chaperones are for supervision and food service only. Donations may be dropped off in the K-8 front office any time before 3:15 p.m. on Friday, May 2. Feel free to bring in non-perishable items to the K-8 front office throughout the week of the dance (April 28 - May 2).

You can sign up to volunteer or donate here. Please reach out to the Student Council Sponsors, Noah Hayden and Erin Puccio, with any questions. Thank you for your support!

Get Your Community Service Hours in Now!

Don't forget that middle school students in grades 6-8 are required to perform 8 hours of community service to participate in end-of-year activities (for 8th grade, this would be the trip to Boondocks on 5/16.)

These hours can be completed doing anything for someone else that they aren't paid for. This can be as simple as walking a neighbor's dog or helping someone clean their yard, to working with a school or community agency, such as volunteering at a Precious Child, etc.

Once the hours are complete, make sure that students complete the form that's online to log their time.

8th Grade End of Year Field Trip - Boondocks!

We are thrilled to celebrate the end of an amazing school year with our 8th graders at Boondocks! This special field trip is a way to recognize their hard work, growth, and accomplishments as they get ready to take the next step in their academic journey.

This field trip will take place on Friday, May 16 at Boondocks (11425 Community Center Dr, Northglenn, CO). Students will depart on the school bus at 9:30 a.m. and students will be picked up directly from Boondocks by a parent or authorized adult by 2:00 p.m.

GLC Needed for Class of 2029!

My tenure as the Class of 2029 GLC is coming to an end with the close of this school year. PRA is currently looking for one or two new Grade Level Coordinators (GLCs) for our rising 9th grade class for the 2025-26 school year.

GLCs are an incredible resource for the PRA community. These parent volunteers assist with coordinating events, communications with parents, and assisting parents with appropriate channels to improve organizational efficiency. Click to read the full news story.
