I am so excited to be a part of the literacy intervention team this year at PRA! I have been a Miner for the past seven years, working primarily with kindergarten and first grade kiddos. This year I am excited to join the elementary intervention team working with small groups focusing on letter identification, letter sounds, blending and reading fluency. I can’t wait to see the progress your children make this year!
By way of background, I returned to college two years ago studying psychology at MSU Denver with the goal of obtaining a masters and, ultimately, a Ph.D. Returning to college at this stage in life has been more rewarding and fulfilling than I ever imagined. Hopefully within the next several years I will be able to say I made my dream come true. It’s never too late to learn!
I am a mom to an amazing 18-year-old son who is an aerospace engineering major with a focus on space commercialization at MSU Denver. And I have a beautiful little fuzzy puppy, Bailey, who keeps me smiling.
