2020 Middle School Athletics

Tryout numbers that made the team: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 14, 16, 1, 5, 7, 11, 13
 
PRA MS soccer practices M-F 3:30 to 5:00 on the HS grass field unless there is a game that day.   A typical week is M,W,F practice with games on T,Th.  Players need to make two full practices in a week to be game eligible for the following week.  The game schedule is posted below.
 
Academic Eligibility:  PRA MS soccer players are student athletes and their studies must come first.  Student grades are pulled each Tuesday and players that are not eligible due to grades lose eligibility until grades are pulled the following Tuesday.  Players need to communicate with the coaches if/when they need to attend office hours. 
 
  

 

Covid protocols for MS Girl's Soccer

  • Game Information:

    • Athletes need to come dressed and ready to participate.

    • Players/Teams need to bring their own water/hydration supply. 

    • PRA will provide an athletic trainer for each game. 

    • Teams may be dropped off at the HS Turf Field/Grass field and parking is located south of the field.

    • Teams/Players should arrive at the venue no more than 30 minutes before the start of on-field activities. Anyone arriving earlier than 30 minutes before their start time should wait outside the facility and be socially distanced from others.

    • Coach must covid screen and temperature check their own players prior to entering the playing field.

    • Coaches please give a verbal confirmation to the athletic director or the game day manager when arriving. 

     

    Fans/Spectators:

    • Currently we are allowing 2 home and 2 visiting spectators per game. 

    • Please bring your own chair and sit only next to your household. 

    • Spectators must wear facial coverings and maintain 6 feet social distance at all times.

    • Spectators must exit the field immediately after the conclusion of the game. 

     

    Bench Area: 

    • All guidelines from CHSAA must be adhered to.

    • Each team has been approved for 25 players per soccer team for games.

    • Social distancing between individuals of at least 6 feet must be maintained at all times. Handshakes,

    • fist bumps, hugging, etc. are not permissible.

    • In Tri County - all players must wear masks on the sideline.  No longer have to wear mask during the game.

    • Hand sanitizer will be provided at your bench.

    • Players’ bags/equipment should be placed/stored 6 feet away from others’ bags. Players should store

    • their gear in their bags (as opposed to a community pile or tossed on the bench).

    • If there is a game on the field occurring  before the team’s scheduled start (another game or practice),

    • the incoming team should wait until all players from the prior event have vacated the venue. There must not be interaction between the two groups.

    • Post-game protocol of shaking hands must be suspended. Teams/coaches should consider other way to show post-game appreciation for opponents and officials.

    • At the conclusion of the game we kindly ask that teams exit the playing field with their coaches immediately.
