PRA LIBRARY SOCK HOP

What is the best way to celebrate summer reading?  With a huge Sock Hop party, of course! Students, grades 1st through 5th, who enjoyed reading fantastic adventures all summer, and logged their minutes, are invited to the event of the year that includes games, prizes, and root beer floats!   The annual PRA Library Sock Hop is the summer reading event of the year :) All summer reading logs, written lists or minutes logged into Scholastic, are due Thursday, August 29th! We will download the information from Scholastic; If you logged your minutes into Scholastic no need to turn anything in. Written logs can be turned into the ES Library or to the classroom teacher. New students: Email or write a note with approximately how many minutes were read this summer.

Invitations, for students that completed the required minutes, will be sent out Thursday, September 5th in student’s Folders.

Check the school calendar for Sock Hop date and time.

Middle School Display

Each month a group of Middle Schools sign up and create a display in the library. For the month of October, Sydona, Reece, and Tia created a display that was creative and had the other students talking!
