HS Tech 1 is a suggested prerequisite of this course
HS Tech2 is a prerequisite of this course
HS Tech3 is optional, but will provide further foundation
A year long college level AP computer science course in Java, a popular multipurpose, object-oriented programming language. Students will master the basics of programming in Java, applying critical thinking and problem solving as they're exposed to a broader array of programming structures and constructs; delving into object-oriented concepts and programming techniques as well as algorithm development. All in prep for the spring AP CS A test. HS Tech2 is a required prerequisite.
