MS Tech 1: Intro to Technology

Class Description
Students are introduced to basic computer programming. We'll start out learning HTML/CSS to design and layout websites. Then we'll get hands-on with hardware where we'll learn to program switches and lights and alarms, and even make it play a song. From there we'll program robots to perform a variety of tasks. And finally, we will write programs in a game-like environment to solve various puzzles and challenges. Along the way we will learn about digital citizenship - internet safety, responsible use of technology and online etiquette.
