Mrs. Hankla's varied work experience led her to pursue the Office Manager and Enrollment Coordinator position at PRA. She served in a number of support positions at Peak to Peak Charter School before joining the PRA staff. Over that ten year period, she supported the director of instructional data and technology, the ALPS (TAG) coordinator, the elementary and secondary school librarians, the bookkeeper, and the counselors, in addition to preparing the K-12 master schedule.
She has volunteered extensively with Girl Scouts for over fifteen years, organizing day camps and science events for all ages, while advising three troops and coordinating the local service unit volunteers. She has also worked as the Business Manager for a local preschool, data manager for an environmental monitoring group at Lawrence Livermore National Lab, and a software consultant.
Mrs. Hankla hails from Decatur, Georgia and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. She currently resides in Lafayette with her husband and three children and is proud to be a charter school parent herself. She also enjoys hiking, reading, volunteering, cooking, and surfing paleo blogs.
