Student Leadership

There are numerous opportunities for student leadership at Prospect Ridge Academy. Our commitment to creating academic, social, and ethical leaders means that providing ample opportunities for our students to become effective leaders is a significant part of a PRA education.

Prospect Ridge Academy students help to create the school’s culture and its sense of community and achievement. PRA is a welcoming and inclusive place, where individual abilities and personalities are celebrated from Kindergarten through the 12th grade, and where lifelong memories are made. Students experience and practice leadership in the classroom, and continue to develop leadership skills in groups outside of the classroom.

Student Council

Beginning in 5th grade, students have the opportunity to take on leadership roles in the Elementary, Middle and High School student council. Each division has an elected student council which provides leadership at the school and encourages student involvement in maintaining and improving the school climate; and also sponsors social events and community service projects.
