After School Program
After School Program at Prospect Ridge Academy is now offered by Champions with the focus is on fun and free play. Each day, students (K-5th grade) have the opportunity to select among a variety of engaging activities, including arts and crafts, recreation, guided sports and games, and other fun activities.
It is our goal to provide an after school program that is trusted by the parents, and is safe and fun for the students. Champions offers parents a program located in the school following all the rules and policies that students and parents are familiar with. Champions also offers students the opportunity for continued collaboration with teachers and staff after the school day is finished. We strive to nurture each child’s learning development through assisting with homework and projects during our set study hall time. Champions staff takes special care in supervising the students, and we always maintain a student-teacher ratio of 15:1 as required by the State of Colorado. Their staff is dedicated to each and every student’s and parent’s needs in order to create a supportive and positive environment for everyone.
Thank you for your interest in the After School Program led by Champions! Registration begins in the spring each year for the following school year. Acceptance into the Champions program first goes to PRA staff students and returning After School Program families, and then is open and filled on a first come, first serve basis.
Once admitted to the program, families wishing to continue utilizing the Champions program are automatically continued through 5th grade. If you have any questions, you can reach out to [email protected]
