Prospect Ridge Academy’s libraries provide an organized collection of resources, as well as instruction in the use of these materials. In addition to fostering a habit of reading, the Library's instructional program enables students to begin developing the skills they will need in an information-rich world.
Elementary students come to the library once a week and are introduced to new stories and reacquainted with old ones. By hearing stories read, checking out books, and participating in literacy activities, students have the opportunity to discover new worlds through books and develop a lifelong passion for reading.
Middle school and high school students participate in media and research lessons that bolster classroom curricula while learning how to effectively evaluate and decipher information in a rapidly changing digital age.
High school students can check out Chromebooks, TI-84 plus calculators and headphones for the day. All non-book items are due by 3:15 the same day they are checked out.
