PRA is offering an opportunity for students in grades 3-5 to join a before school math club, centered on mathematical fluency. The club will be based on the 24 Math Game, which was designed by inventor Robert Sun to create a new generation of critical thinkers. Students race to make the number 24 using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division. The club will support the interest and ability level of all types of mathematicians, by differentiating game play.
When: Wednesdays from 7:35-8:10 am, March 29 through April 26 (Club will not meet over spring break) End of session tournament will be from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 3.
Where: Miner Diner
Who: Mrs. Hayes & Mrs. Reeves, offered to students in grades 3-5, max 32 students, firstcome first served until spots are filled.
