Colorado School of Mines Summer Engineering Camps for High School Students and Middle School Students: Golden, Colorado
Description: The Colorado School of Mines Summer Engineering Design Program is for high school (rising 10th-12th grade) students. Participants work in teams to design and build an engineering device to meet a set of performance specifications. The team markets the device to a general audience through a poster session and competition. This exciting adventure creates an opportunity to practice engineering design, i.e. the design and construction of processes, components, or systems.

LYNX National Arts & Media Summer Camps for High School Students: Denver, Colorado
Description: The LYNX National Arts and Media Camps are one week and two-week long summer programs for high school students interested in music and the arts. The LYNX Camps are hosted on the University of Colorado Denver campus and sponsored by the CU Denver College of Arts & Media. Options for residential and non-residential camp programsare available this summer. The camps are designed to provide students with an educational preview of the college programs offered in the College of Arts & Media while also providing students with an inspiring and memorable summer camp experience. We host high school students from throughout the country, and even international students, at the camp which enables a diverse and enriching experience as students bond over a shared passion for the arts!
Camps offered this summer: Music Industry, Filmmaking, Animation & Design, Photography, Sculpture, Advanced Singer/Songwriting, and a Arts Preview Week. 
Participants: The LYNX Camps are for high school students (ages 14-18) who are interested in the arts. Any student who has finished 8th grade by the start of the camp and has not yet started college is eligible to attend (we do admit students who have just completed 12th grade).

Northern Colorado University Summer Enrichment Program for High School Students and Middle School Students: Greeley, Colorado
Description: Northern Colorado offeres a summer enrichment program for talented high school students, middle school students, and upper elementary students. Participating students have the opportunity to learn about high interest topics, gain hands-on academic experiences, and engage in co-curricular activities. The courses that are part of the summerenrichment program are specially designed for gifted and talented students.

Regis University Summer Reading Programs for High School Students and Middle School Students: Denver, Colorado
Description: This summer reading program is designed to help participants to become stronger readers and better students. Students receive instruction in strategies to assist with reading comprehension, study skills, and reading fluency. Students work with experienced educators, participating in engaging activities, and read interesting books and materials.
Participants: Students entering grades 9, 10, and 11. There are also programs available for younger students.

Summer Discovery Pre-College Enrichment Programs: Held in Boulder, Colorado 
Description: Summer Discovery at CU-Boulder is a pre-college experience that offers STEM Research, STEM Academies, and CU Scholars Credit Academies. For over 50 years, high school students from around the globe have enjoyed summers filled with fun, educational, and innovative activities. STEM Academy Music Technology Summer Camp for High School, Middle School, and Elementary School Students: Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Description: Elementary and Middle School students are invited to attend one of our Music Technology Summer Camps in June and July. This program is based on STEM School’s highly successful middle school Music Production program. It is intended for students with some experience of playing an instrument or making music with software such as GarageBand, LMMS, SoundTrap, Audacity and similar studio/DJ music applications. This intensive course allows our participants to learn music composing skills using technology or enhance their own instrumental/vocal talents with technology. Course curriculum includes: Ableton – Music to video/animation: composing original digital music to videos and images; MIDI – Using and manipulating digital music (MIDI) and produce using Ableton and live music; Basic Skills – Basic keyboard skills in key of G; Instrument/vocal skillsSibelius/Noteflight – Composing from prepared templates: instrumental and vocal music using this classical-style music software.

University of Colorado Summer Research Programs for High School Students: Boulder, Colorado
Description: The University of Colorado offers research programs for motivated high school students. The research programs include: Emerging Frontiers in Research and Innovation REM Program and Mountain Research Experience. Students have the opportunity to learn about research, work with faculty and researchers, and explore high interest topics. Participating students also have the opportunity to interact with peers while gaining valuable educational experiences.

Description: Equipping pre-college musicians for success in the 21st century, the University of Denver Lamont School of Music Summer Academy provides a 2-week intensive music experience in state-of-the-art facilities with outstanding artist faculty! Curriculum includes private lessons, master classes, chamber music, orchestra, wind ensemble, choir, jazz combo, music theatre, experimental and steel drum ensembles, recitals, music technology, conducting, theory, collaborative piano, Alexander technique, diction for singers, special topic seminars including music business, concerto/aria competition, recreational activities and more!
