The Prospect Ridge Academy Board of Directors is a group of committed community leaders who support our mission, vision, goals, and educational philosophy. Made up of parents, community, and business leaders, the board helps us maintain accountability to our students, families and the community by holding public meetings every month to review school progress, and implement personnel, budgetary, administrative, and academic processes.
The Board meets on the first Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm in the High School Conference Room from August through June, and are open to the public. Bret Fund, President
School Accountability Committee Chair
Bret is a Managing Partner at SecureSet, a cybersecurity academy and accelerator. Previously he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado - Boulder where he taught new venture creation and private equity. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's in Finance and a Masters in Organizational Behavior. He completed his PhD in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University while researching and teaching strategy and entrepreneurship. Bret and his wife Alisha, have four wonderful children who attend PRA.

Kevin Jenkins serves as the Vice President of Operations at St. Anthony North Health Campus, overseeing all operational oversight and day-to-day planning for the hospital. Prior to joining St. Anthony North Health Campus as Vice President of Operations, Kevin served as the Vice President of Ambulatory Care for the Mountains and North Denver Operating Group of Centura Health. Kevin earned his BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University-Idaho and his MHA from the University of Washington. He and his wife Stephanie have four children who attend of will attend PRA.

Julia is currently General Counsel for Cardno, Inc., a global ASX-200 professional infrastructure and environmental services company with expertise in development and improvement of physical and social infrastructure for communities around the world. Prior to joining Cardo, she was Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Market Force Information, Inc. and the Assistant General Counsel for West Corporation. Julia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business in Administration from the University of Denver, a Juris Doctorate and a LL.M in the Laws of Taxation from the University of Denver. She has a son who attends Prospect Ridge Academy.
Todd Stockard, Treasurer
Finance Committee Chair
Todd is currently Vice President Finance and Treasurer at DigitalGlobe, Inc., a publicly traded, global provider of Earth-imagery products and services headquartered in Westminster. Previously he was Assistant Treasurer at Level 3 Communications, Inc. Todd earned his B.S. degree in Managerial Economics from University of California, Davis and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Todd and his wife have two sons and a daughter attending PRA.
Lena Lucas, Director
Community Outreach Subcommittee Chair
Lena is a former corporate and real estate attorney, but currently spends time volunteering at various non-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with minors in French and English and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska. She and her husband David live in Broomfield in the Anthem neighborhood and have three children at PRA.
Steve Perruzza, Director
Fundraising Committee Chair
Steve is currently President at Equable Investment Corporation, a family owned private money lending company for Real Estate Investing. Prior to that, he was a Vice President/General Manager at Advanced Forming Technology, a division of Precision Cast Parts Corporation. He attended J.K. Mullen High School and graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a general engineering degree. He and his wife Angela live in Westminster and have two sons. One is attending PRA as a 7th grader in the fall and the other is attending Cornerstone Christian Academy as a 5th grader.
Matt Schalk, Director
Athletics Subcommittee Chair
Matt is the current PGA Director of Golf and Regional Manager for OB Sports Colorado. He has tremendous experience in capital raising, asset protection, and the forming of 501c3’s. Matt is a native Coloradoan who attended Boulder High School as well Metro State University in Denver and is a graduate of the Golf Professional Training Program. He is a Member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America and Nike’s Elite Bowerman staff. Matt and his wife Leslie have 3 children who attend or will attend PRA.
